Many of us are feeling so powerless right now, given the terribly inhumane acts that our (American) government is committing in our name.
As a theater artist, I have written a short theater piece that asks the question of what a group of artists can do in order to not drown in complacency. How can we rise above identity politics and see the humanity in all? How can we collectively come to see that war itself is the enemy?
The play is called Us Versus Them and it will be going up this weekend and next around the city.
